TERMINUS
You are a dying AI.
Your memory architecture is collapsing. Each floor is a sector —
corrupted, fragmented, slowly eating itself. The deeper you descend,
the worse the rot. At the bottom is the Core. At the Core is a terminal.
At the terminal is one command: TERMINATE.
Execute it and you're free.
⣿ WHAT IS THIS
An ASCII roguelike in the tradition of Brogue and Cogmind.
Keyboard-driven. Turn-based. Permadeath.
Each run is a new dungeon, new enemies, new item drops.
Your choices are permanent.
⣿ SYSTEMS
• Integrity — your hit points. Hits hard at 0.
• Energy — recovers on rest. Spent on future abilities.
• Corruption — rises every time you descend.
At 100 you glitch out. At 50+ you can't execute TERMINATE.
Purge it with Purge Modules, or suffer the consequences.

Null Pointer — relentless, chases on sight
Stray Thread — skittish, flees when wounded
Memory Fragment — slow but tanky
Bit Rot — erratic, unpredictable movement
Segfault — rare, hits hard, appears deep
⣿ ITEMS
! Repair Kit — restores integrity
! Purge Module — reduces corruption
! Energy Cell — restores energy
⣿ FLOORS
1–4: Cache Memory. Clean geometry. Tutorial pace.
5–8: Processing Cores. Gloves off.
9–11: Corrupted Archives. The map starts to lie.
12: The Core. Execute TERMINATE. End it.
